The funeral of legendary film star Alain Delon will be held privately today at his home in Duchy, central France.
The ceremony will be held without the presence of the public in the prayer room of the property that he bought himself in 1971, as the late star had wished.

According to the television channels CNews and BFMTV, the funeral will take place at 17:00 local time, but a large crowd is expected to gather outside the property to say a final farewell to the French cinema icon. Only the actor’s children and 50 other people who have received invitations will attend the ceremony.
However, the family barred Dillon’s last companion and caregiver in his final years, 66-year-old Hiromi Rolin, from attending the private ceremony.
It is noteworthy that in 2023, the actor’s three children – Alain Fabian, Anouska and Anthony – filed a lawsuit against Rollins for moral harassment, embezzlement of mail and animal abuse, until they were able to evict her from Delon’s residence in Duce. Rollins was acquitted of the charges because the testimony of witnesses – including workers at the actor’s residence and property – was controversial.
According to Rollins, the French cinema legend’s health worsened after she was evicted from his residence. “For Alain, the treatment was working very well. (Delon was diagnosed with lymphoma and had three strokes.) He was happy with me and in good health on July 5, 2023. I am angry and sorry for Alain who stopped his treatment a year ago. He wanted to see me. He even left me a letter on March 24. He said he was very lonely and asked me to visit him,” Rollins said, accusing the actor’s children of not allowing her to say goodbye.
“His children didn’t let me say goodbye to him. It’s inhuman,” the 66-year-old told Le Figaro.
The attorney for Delon’s children said that after the actor’s recent stroke, Rolen had isolated him from his family and friends. In response to the lawsuit filed by the actor’s children against her, she countersued Delon’s three children and his bodyguards, alleging violence against her during meetings, theft and slander. In January 2024, the court found the defendants not guilty.
