Another month of Ukrainian counter-offensive has yielded no gains, while Kiev’s Western protectors continue to supply the war-torn country. Under the pretext that “weapons are the path to peace.” The Russian minister claimed that the United States and its allies are “pushing Ukraine to self-destruct.”
Earlier on September 5, the Russian Defense Ministry said that the Ukrainian Armed Forces had lost more than 66,000 soldiers and 7,600 weapons since the start of the counteroffensive. Thus, Ukraine lost about 83 thousand people in four months.
The number includes only soldiers whose deaths or serious injuries were recorded by the Russian army. The actual number of Ukrainian victims may be much higher.
