Quite quietly, even without a special announcement, AMD has just released one New processor, which seems ideal for affordable computers. It's about him Ryzen 7 5700.
Yes, you read that right, the 5700. Although the company has already made the transition to the AM5 platform and its 7000 processors from the Zen 4 architecture, it has now also released a model for its previous series and those with the AM4 system.
The Ryzen 7 5700 doesn't have integrated graphics, unlike the 5700G, a model that's been around for a while. However, it consists of 8 cores with a total of 16 threads, which runs at 3.7GHz and has a boost of 4.6GHz. The processor's L3 cache reaches 16MB, while the TDP reaches a maximum of 65W.
Oddly enough, AMD's official website states that the processor was released last year in April, which is of course a typo. The price of the model is not listed on the official website of AMD, but if the 5700G currently costs around 180 euros, it will certainly be less, since it is practically the corresponding model, but without the integrated graphics, for those who want to use it as their own laptops. Proprietary and dedicated GPU.
For your information, the existence of the aforementioned model was leaked months ago. The same leak stated that AMD will soon bring Ryzen 5700X3D, 5600GT, and 5500GT models to the AM4 platform, while revealing that the first Ryzen 8000G is on the way as well.
