An intervention at breakfast after the confusion about the Colonos case

Confusion arose with the phone call made by a neighbor of the 53-year-old main defendant in the Colonos case in breakfast. At the beginning of the call, the lady in question wanted to express her complaint to the presenter, who – she claimed – says it is a disgrace to the neighborhood for not talking about what was happening to the 12-year-old.

The 53-year-old man’s neighbor said to Giorgos Lyagas: “I know that you grew up next to Mr. Liaga, as did one of your colleagues. I am ashamed to say her name,” she said at first, as the announcer interrupted her and mentioned the name Eleni Minigaki.

“He came back and said yesterday, shame on the neighborhood because he didn’t come out to talk because he didn’t have a report to do?” Her 53-year-old neighbor continued, while Giorgos Liagas begged her not to continue, noting that Eleni Minigaki was not a journalist, but a broadcaster.

Then the woman explained that she was not referring to Eleni Menegaki, but to another presenter.

The mega announcer’s reaction was intense, as she sent a message to her ex-partner, Taso Terjiakiwho read it live from ANT1.

I sent Eleni Minigaki a message. The lady herself said that she did not mean Eleni Minigaki, however Eleni wrote that ‘It is not true, I have not made any comment about the neighborhood. I never mentioned this, only a statement I made the night before yesterday at an event where I also gave my opinion, like many others.”
