As discovered by Android Authority media, the latest version is Beta 1.2 Android 15 Includes topper Useful feature for annoying notifications. It's about “Calm down notification“, which will do exactly what its name suggests.
Specifically, thanks to the notification cooldown, Android 15 will automatically start turning down notification volume when the same app sends multiple notifications in a row. For example, if you have a boyfriend/girlfriend who is sending you back-to-back text messages and your phone is acting like crazy ringing over and over again, Android 15 won't allow that. Only the first notifications will have the same severity. In fact, the vibration will stop after a period of time, and users will have the option if they want to leave the vibration unaffected, when they unlock their screen.
The setting in question is found in the latest Android 15 beta under the Settings > Notifications > Calm down notifications section of the operating system. Below you can see the image posted by the moderator, which includes the official descriptions of the new feature. Finally, it is worth noting that Notification cooldown will be enabled by default in Android 15but the vibration option must be optionally enabled by users.
Of course, many third-party Android skins may already offer similar features. However, Google's implementation of this feature means that all Android phones will get it at some point in the future.
