The Israeli attack on Recep Tayyip Erdogan was fierce, after the Turkish President’s statements during the large march held in Istanbul in support of Palestine.
Erdogan not only repeated his position that Hamas “is not a terrorist organization,” but also described Israel as a “war criminal,” stressing that what is happening in Gaza is “not defense, but a massacre.”
Israel’s response was immediate, as it recalled its diplomats from Turkey and announced that it would reconsider its relations with Ankara.
Israeli Foreign Minister Eli Cohen said in a post on Platform 10: “Given Turkey’s strongly worded statements, I have ordered the return of our diplomatic representatives from there so that we can move forward with reviewing Israel’s relations with Turkey.”
Given the dangerous statements issued by Turkey, it ordered the return of diplomatic representatives there in order to re-evaluate relations between Israel and Turkey.

“The Serpent and the Islamic Statesman”
At the same time, Israel’s ambassador to the United Nations described Erdogan as a “snake”, who does not miss any opportunity to express his anti-Semitic anger.
Meanwhile, the Israeli Energy Minister stated that the Turkish President revealed his true face.
He added: “He is a man of the Muslim Brotherhood and a supporter of Hamas and the Islamic State.”
