Two kittens are rescued and put up for adoption, while the third is missing.
Unbelievable cruelty in Pakrati, where a woman tried to drown three newborn kittens in a fit of rage.
According to Alma Libre, an animal welfare organization that rescues cats across Attica, eyewitnesses yesterday Saturday saw a woman frantically nursing three kittens near their mother in a covered area and trying to suffocate them. With water pressure, he then forced them into a bucket and threw them out into the street in plain sight.
AD Bagratio was immediately informed about the incident and the police rushed to the scene where they arrested the woman who was taken to the autoforo.

A related post said: “A tragic incident of abuse took place today in Bagratio, where witnesses witnessed a woman frantically trying to squeeze three kittens from their mother’s side. They were suffocated, given a pressurized bath, then forced into a bucket and thrown into the street in plain sight.
AD Bagradio was immediately informed of the incident and the police rushed to the scene where they arrested the “lady” who was taken to the autoforo.
At the same time, attempts were made to call the urban fauna of the Municipality of Athens, but unfortunately to no avail, and at the same time, an animal-loving police officer from the department was also informed by his friend Christina Dimitriato. Police rushed to the scene to help the unfortunate kittens, who panicked on the street, and the men were unable to catch them.
There was a child in a stairwell in the water where Christina was able to hold it to safety, and a second car was frozen and speechless with the engine running and we got it out safely as we rushed to the scene to help.
The third child is still missing, he was chased earlier by a passerby who tried to catch him and is now missing.
After a series of searches of the surrounding cars and the area of the square in question, unfortunately it was not found.
Shopkeepers and residents of the area have been told to be on the lookout and inform us if it is detected so that we can rush back.
The two babies, who are not even a month and a half old, are still terrified and in shock.
They are now temporarily housed and the police are expected to contact urban wildlife which unfortunately is not possible due to the weekend.
We want the best for the babies and look forward to more shelters and adoptions for these creatures who have suffered so much cruelty.
Open your homes to these creatures.
Humanity reveals its cruel face every day and the glass was indeed overflowing before long.
No tolerance for abuse, no tolerance for injustice. No tolerance, if we are to be called human beings, if we are to have faith.”
