Annuities: a triple reward for 1.3 million retirees – the dates and amounts they will see at ATMs

A triple bonus for 1.3 million retirees in March will come with retroactive payments of supplementary pensions, the grant of retroactive increases in Astratas dividends and payment of “personal differences” allowance of 300, 250 and 200 euros.

Deposit of amounts to beneficiaries will start from Monday March 13th until the end of March, while Astratus earnings will arrive at the beginning of April (3rd, 4th of the month). Upcoming payments are for:

1 Retroactive advances for supplementary pensions in amounts up to €8,000, as well as issuance of final decisions on the full amounts. About 40 thousand retirees with applications by June 30, 2022 will receive advances, while another 40 thousand will receive final decisions in the full amount of the supplement and, of course, with payments backdated from the date of their application. With regard to the advance payment, the payments will be made on the three days of March 13th, 14th and 15th, while the new compensation will be paid with the regular payment of pensions at the end of March. For the advance payment, a major pension decision must have been issued and the retirees must have completed at least 15 years (or 4,500 days) of supplementary insurance, taking into account the time of successive insurance. For the old-age pension, the advance payment is 100 euros per month (from the date of application), for applications due to disability and death, the advance payment is 50 euros per month. In the case of children who are entitled to a share of the deceased parent’s additional allowance, the advance payment is 25 euros for each month in which the decision is delayed.

2 Retrospective and increases in portfolio earnings. The increases come to €89 per month and come from the removal of cuts of 5% to 20% in their earnings retroactive from 1/1/2021 to €2,400. The beneficiaries are 120,000 retirees. The increases have already been paid to retirees who received dividends from the Military Equity Fund on February 24 and expect retroactive payments in March or April. Retirees receiving dividends from the Aviation Equity Fund will pay one at a time the increase in their amounts resulting from the elimination of the reductions and retroactively as of 1/1/2021 with the dividend paid out on April 2 3. The increase will be paid to retirees receiving dividends from the Marine Equity Fund with a distribution April earnings at the end of March.

3 Allowance for personal differences of 300, 250 and 200 euros for pensioners 1,112,000. Most likely expected before the payment of April pensions. March 24 and 27 are considered the preferred dates for disbursing allowances if they were provided before pensions, but if it was decided to pay pensions first and then the subsidy, then retirees will receive them between March 29 and 31.

For pensioners who will receive directly the additional amounts (without an advance payment), the final amounts, according to the tables prepared by “ET” Sunday, are: • For pensioners with a salary of 1,300 euros, between the ages of 62 and 25 years of insurance, the assistance It will be 106 euros, while at the age of 40 and 67 years, they will receive 229 euros. • For pensioners who receive a salary of 2000 euros, and those between the ages of 62 and 25 years of insurance, the additional amount amounts to 162 euros, while those at the age of 40 and 62 years get 337 euros. • For pensioners who receive a salary of 2,000 euros, and whose age ranges from 67 to 25 years of insurance, the assistance will be 217 euros, while they receive 347 euros with 40 years.

Who gets the allowance? 300, 250 and 200 euros

The allowance for personal differences will be received by 1,112,000 retirees until the end of March in the following amounts:

• 300 euros Those who have a pension or main pension pool of up to €1,100 and have not seen any pension increase will receive from the 7.75% rate provided by the government. • 250 euros Those with a pension of up to 1,100 euros would receive and from 7.75% saw an increase to 3.49%. • 250 euros Those with pensions from 1,100 to 1,600 euros would receive no increase at all from 7.75%, but would benefit from an annual increase of up to 111 euros from the abolition of the solidarity tax. • 200 euros Those who have a pension of up to €1,100 and have seen an increase from 3.5% to 6.99% will receive it. • 200 euros Those with a pension between €1,101 and €1,600 will receive it and have seen an increase of up to 3.49%.

1. A pensioner who receives a pension of 884 euros and maintains a personal difference balance of 183 euros will receive 300 euros.
2. A pensioner who receives a pension of 1,156 euros and maintains a personal difference balance of 63 euros will receive 250 euros.
3. A pensioner with a pension of 1,195 euros, which has eliminated personal differences with a slight increase of 2.51%, will receive an allowance of 200 euros.
