The deceased owner of a neoclassical building on Neophyto Doukas Street in Kolonaki – the former builder – was initially suspected of owning the armory that was discovered at noon today.
Pre-World War II munitions found in the building’s warehouse by managers of a shipping company were to be installed on one of the building’s floors.

Until three years ago, there was a famous lawyer’s office in this particular area.
A former ND minister who died in 2018 and a popular musician and director recently lived in other flats.

The employees who searched the place found guns and bullets inside a trunk and informed the police at 1.30 pm.
Police immediately rushed to the spot and cordoned off the spot. In the afternoon, a thorough inspection of the warehouse and other floors of the building was carried out.
According to the information inside the trunk, 5 guns including M1, machine gun, air gun, 3 grenades and 500 bullets were found.
All items were taken to the forensic laboratory for further examination.
