Arsenal is heading towards the title with a 3-0 win over Bournemouth

Leaders Arsenal overcame another hurdle in their race to win this year’s Premier League title after beating Bournemouth 3-0 in their penultimate home game, piling pressure on Manchester City.

A Saka penalty before half-time gave Arsenal the lead, while Trossard restored calm at the Emirates Stadium with a second goal in the 70th minute, before Rice was the icing on the cake in the seventh minute of added time.

Today’s hat-trick, the fourth in a row, raised Arsenal’s tally to 83 points from 36 matches, while defending champion City trails with 79 points with two matches in hand.
