AEK return to action and play their first official match of the new year against Inter Escaldes (21:00, COSMOTE Sport 1 and Live SPORT24) in the second qualifying round of the Conference League.
AEK’s clear objective is to win by a wide margin that will allow them to see the return leg as a formal procedural obligation to be dealt with. The Andorrans will play without pressure, having pulled off a surprise in the previous round by eliminating Velez Mostar and even winning 5-1 at home.
The yellow and black are expected to play in a stadium with a strong attendance of fans. However, they must be careful with their behavior as there is a risk of punishment, while the yellow and black PAE called on their fans to get acquainted with the tickets via gov.gr, to avoid any inconvenience.
AEK handed over to UEFA on Friday their squad list for the match against Inter Escaldes which includes just three signings, Brignoli, Strakossa and Kuita.
Pereira has been left out along with Zuber, Lamela and Adoubajo, while he is allowed to make two substitutions 24 hours before midnight of the first match, but at the moment the federation has not announced any change.
From the list presented by Matias Almeida, all are available. Erik Lamela missed training due to the virus. The eleven that the Argentine coach will choose for the first match will rely heavily on players who have been on the list since last season and have worked since day one.

Under the rafters it will be no surprise who is used between Strakossa and Brignoli. At centre-back, Vida will partner Collins, with Moukoudi having missed training for a few days. Rota will play on the right flank of defence and Hagisavy on the left.
In midfield, we can expect to see either Szymanski-Johnson or one of them with Pineda in the quarter-finals. Mijat Gacinovic will start on the left and Niklas Eliasson on the right. Robert Ljubicic will play up top with Levi Garcia playing in front of him.
The federation has not announced a mission. It currently has 27 footballers on its list, with Christos Kosidis, Alexis Golfinos, Aristides Andrikopoulos and Anastasios Kontorouhas added through List B.
