Athens Economou: The amounts allocated to influential people are huge

“Now with filming the series I see my children less. I generally look forward to having time at home. Especially on weekends, we do a lot of things together,” said Athena Economakou.

In the midst of everything, Giorgos Liagas asked the actress which social media platforms she is most active on, on the occasion of the release of a recent list of the ministry indicating the amounts of wages influencers are paid for one post.

“According to the ministry, they charge 15,000 euros for each participation. I will not ask you how much you charge, but do these amounts apply in general?” The presenter asked Athena Economakou and she replied: “Every time I come, she asks me how much money I make from Instagram. I don’t want more.”

“I won’t talk… Firstly, I don’t classify myself as an influencer. I’m an actor and I also run an Instagram account and everything I do I do based on the publicity part that my job has given me and not the influencer part. I do that at the same time, but I consider it my job. So, If you want to talk about finances, let me tell you how much money I make straight up!” The actress continued.

“I cut the evidence on social media. The amounts are huge but I don’t know what to tell you, there are others. I know about myself but I won’t tell you. There’s no shame in being an influencer, but when I have to say what I do, I won’t call you an influencer or Entrepreneur. It’s something I do on the side to be able to support myself when I have trouble at work and it’s an unsafe field. My main job is as an actress,” Athena Economakou said.
