Filip Bajnovic became an official OFI player as of Saturday (24/8), as the Cretans announced the start of their partnership until 2026.
OFI announces its acquisition of Philip Baynovic from Spartak Trnava, with the 28-year-old signed a two-year contract.
The Serbian midfielder plays primarily as a ‘8’ and secondarily as a ‘6’ and is coming off a busy season with Spartak Trnava, where he made 40 appearances last year, scoring eight goals and providing three assists.
At the start of this season, he has already made five appearances, three of them in the Conference League playoffs.

“PAE OFI 1925 announces the transfer of Filip Bajnović from Spartak Trnava, as the Serbian footballer signed a two-year contract with our team.
The 28-year-old midfielder (born 23/6/1996, Pozarevac, Serbia) played this summer in the qualifying stage of the Conference League, with the colors of Spartak Trnava.
The previous season with the Slovakian team he finished third in the league standings, making 40 appearances in domestic competitions and in the Conference League, where they reached the group stage.
In addition to Spartak Trnava, for whom he played 44 matches, 6 goals and 2 assists, he also played for Rad (62 matches, 2 goals, 4 assists), AS Trencin (56 matches, 11 goals, 5 assists), Górnik Zabrze (41 matches) and Radnik (17 matches).
Filip Bajnovic has been selected as an international player with his country’s minor national teams.
