the Google He’s getting ready to completely change his look Youtube On computers and thus now asking for help from users.
Going into details, the company has launched a new experience, in which YouTube Premium members can optionally participate, in order to collect opinions about the new operating experience it is preparing. This experience will be available until July 8, with its official description stating:
Discover an improved YouTube viewing experience with the redesigned desktop view page.
So what’s changed on YouTube? As you can see from the image below, all video information has now been moved to a special column on the right. In particular, it now hosts the video title, the number of views, the date it was published, the channel name, various reaction buttons, such as like and dislike, and of course comments.
Below the video is now a grid of other recommended videos, organized just like the platform’s homepage. As users scroll, YouTube continues to recommend long and short videos, with the selected video information column remaining on the right.
Of course, since this is an experiment, we don’t know yet if YouTube plans to adopt this new viewing screen for all of its users. This will be determined by the feedback the company receives from current testing.
