An incredible move from PAOK, after they agreed, according to Sams Karania, with Kevin Porter (24 years old, 1.93 m), in one of the biggest transfers in their history, as the American averaged 19.2 points last year with the Houston Rockets shirt.

Kevin Porter (24 years old, 1.93 meters) is one breath away from PAOK! In a stunning move announced by Sams Karania, the 'two-headed' has shaken hands with the NBAer's guard and now the announcement remains only to confirm one of the biggest transfers in its history.

Porter isn't just a former NBAer. He is the player who last season averaged 19.2 points, 5.3 rebounds, 5.7 assists and 1.4 steals on 36.6% on three-pointers in 34 minutes of participation with the Rockets, being one of the rising stars in the NBA! But his arrest last September on charges of beating his partner, which he later denied, led to him being ostracized from the NBA and losing the four-year, $63 million contract he signed with the Rockets.

It is clear that under normal circumstances, a player of Porter's caliber and age would never come to Europe. However, the fact that he was blacklisted by the NBA forced him to consider other options in his career, and as a result he was suggested to teams in Europe and finally agreed with PAOK.

The American guard reportedly wants to start his career from scratch in order to return to the NBA. And he wants to make this fresh start in a PAOK jersey, which will support him in the final games of the Stoiximan Basketball League and – if Dykefalos qualifies – in the playoffs, before he tries again to return to the NBA.

For the record, let it be clear that even though it is April Fools' Day, this is not an April Fool's joke, but a real news story. PAOK has already agreed with Kevin Porter.
