Manchester City, with two goals from Foden and one from De Bruyne, achieved a comfortable 3-0 victory over Bristol City and qualified for the 8th round of the FA Cup. Brighton, Blackburn and Fulham also reached the quarter-finals.
Manchester City, although it made many changes and without Haaland who remained on the bench, did not find it difficult to beat Bristol City 3-0 away from home and qualify for the “8” FA Cup.
Brighton, Blackburn and Fulham also moved to the next stage after the results of Tuesday (28/2), while the other four matches will be played on Wednesday (1/3).
The protagonist of Pep Guardiola’s team was Foden who scored twice while De Bruyne scored one.
The visitors took an early lead with seven minutes remaining when De Bruyne lengthened Mahrez, who countered the pass and Foden slotted home to open the scoring.
In the second half, the “Citizens” scored two more goals. First on 74 minutes with Foden finding the net again while the final was made 3-0 by Kevin De Bruyne after a Jack Grealish assist.
