It looks like Will Reeve, son of the late Christopher Reeve, will make a brief appearance in the new “Superman” movie.
James Gunn’s Superman movie is currently filming in Cleveland, Ohio, where photographers and reporters are out to scoop up new information about the DC film. According to Cleveland.com, Will Reeve, the son of Christopher Reeve, the actor who first played Superman, makes a brief appearance in the film starring David Corenswet.
News of Reeve’s involvement in the film broke shortly after filming began, and fans have already reacted by calling Corenswet’s outfit “disappointing.”
“I love and support the casting of David Corenswet as Superman, but I’m very disappointed with the suit,” one user wrote on X.
Another wrote: “Let’s not kid ourselves. The idea is there but the execution is not great. This looks like a low budget CW show. Serious decline.”
In January of last year, Peter Safran revealed more about the plot of the Superman movie, telling reporters: “It focuses on Superman balancing his Kryptonian heritage with his human upbringing. He is the embodiment of truth, justice and the American way of life. He is kindness in a world that thinks kindness is outdated.”
