Due to the protest at Syntagma, ‘Syntagma’ and ‘University’ metro stations will be closed at 10:30 am and trains will pass without stopping.
At the same time, by order of ELAS, “Omonoia” and “Monastiraki” metro stations will be closed from 12 noon.
Trains pass through them non-stop.
Rallies and Rallies
At 12 noon ADEDY and PAME together hold new rallies in Syntagma, with the basic demand not to cover up the tragedy in Tembi, to bring the perpetrators to justice and take the necessary security measures.
Student unions, students and unions have also called, while meetings will be held in Thessaloniki, Larissa, Heraklion, Chania and other cities.
The mobilisations are being carried out by districts with local level actions from Monday to Wednesday (there were already several district meetings on Saturday 11/3), followed by a 24-hour nationwide strike on Thursday, March 16.
At the same time, the investigation into the circumstances under which the Tempe train tragedy took place continues apace. Within a few days, the chief inspector and two station masters of the afternoon shift, who have been charged with criminal charges, will be called to testify.
The communications of the arrested Larisa station master reveal a complicated picture in an important post, while his answers to the interrogation seem to be contradicted by the facts.
