The accident caused the occupants of the first car to be trapped inside the car, which required the intervention of fire service personnel to get them out. They were then transferred to Limassol General Hospital, where they were pronounced dead.

The 44-year-old driver of the second car, as well as a 38-year-old woman who was also in the car, were taken to Limassol General Hospital. The 44-year-old man reportedly suffered fractures to his ribs, while the 38-year-old woman suffered fractures to her neck, sternum and ribs. They were taken to the hospital to receive treatment.

The 44-year-old driver underwent an alcohol test, the reading of which was zero, and he also underwent a drug test, the result of which was negative.
