The feature, which is based on OpenAI’s Dall-E-3 and first seen in Bing AI, allows users to create images based on desired text and artistic styles.
Microsoft first announced its intention to integrate Bing’s AI-powered image creation features into Paint on September 26. According to Latest WindowsCocreator for Paint is now out of beta and ready for a wider release to all Windows 11 users.
You can access the AI image creator by opening Paint and clicking on the Cocreator icon in the toolbar. Then in the text box, describe the image you want to create, e.g. “An impressively dressed dog” or “Sunset on the beach.” Then choose a style for your photo and press the “Create” button. Cocreator will create 3 different versions of the image you described. You can then select one to start editing on the Paint palette.
Additionally, Microsoft has included a step-by-step tutorial within Paint that aims to familiarize users with Cocreator’s functions.
AI Mode integration isn’t the only Paint improvement in Windows 11 this year. Earlier, we saw the introduction of transparency effects, offering users additional creative flexibility. In addition, the sought-after layer functionality has been added, providing a more sophisticated approach to digital art.
