As you understand, the company will not provide the coveted game to the Xbox subscription service. At least not now. Some fans believed this and often asked for it, as Microsoft has long wanted to acquire Activision Blizzard.
Some information about Diablo IV and Seasons:
You’ll be able to play between Barbarian, Sorceress, Druid, Rogue, and Necromancer, leading your character through quests and battles in the world of Sanctuary while the exiled Lilith returns to wreak havoc.
To play the new season, you’ll create a new character and experience new “seasonal” features and content while leveling up alongside other players. This, along with Paragon Points, will ensure that your effort and skill will determine how strong your character will be. So you won’t be able to pay to get “more power” in Diablo IV.
Completing missions in “Season Journey” will level up your Season Pass. This is a new feature that will tally your progress along with Season Journey, allowing you to earn more rewards just by playing the game.
The Season Pass will offer free items, cosmetics, premium currency and boosts, as well as paid rewards, but only for cosmetics and premium currency. The game will feature over 140 dungeons and as Blizzard said there will be no “golden path” to follow. This means that you can choose how to play through Diablo IV’s large open world.
Finally, key features such as replayable procedurally generated dungeons and character building focused on loot will return, while open-world and player-versus-player (PVP) battles are expected for the first time.
Diablo IV will be released for Xbox One, PlayStation 4 and Xbox Series X | S, PlayStation 5 and PC on June 6th.
