Good news for those who work on their computers Windows 11 operating system and users at the same time iPhone. And that’s because Microsoft Extend Phone Link by allowing iPhone users to send and receive SMS and iMessages from their Windows PC.
The latest version of Phone Link for Windows and iOS uses Bluetooth technology to connect your iPhone and Windows PC.
The Phone Link app update is now available in 85 countries and will work with iPhone over Bluetooth for calls, messages, and notifications.
It’s a smart app which means you’ll be able to freely send and receive messages while the phone link is open, but you won’t be able to see your full chat history or join iMessage group conversations.
How will you use it?
To use it, you must first download Phone Link for Windows from the Microsoft Store, while the corresponding version for iPhone is only available through the App Store.
Phone Link for iOS requires iOS 14 or later and is not compatible with iPads. You will also need to have the latest version of Windows 11 installed on your PC with Bluetooth enabled for both devices.
Anyway, as early as mid-May, the latest Phone Link app update should automatically be available, but if you don’t see the New iPhone option during installation, head over to the Microsoft Store app on Windows 11 to make sure you’ve got the latest updates.
