Dr. Disrespect was talking to a minor – he was talking about getting banned on Twitch for the first time

A few hours ago we brought you an article related to the well-known live broadcast. Dr DisrespectHe faces serious charges.

First, Dr Disrespect was banned from Twitch years ago, resulting in him losing over 4 million followers on the platform. Although the reason for the ban was never revealed, a former Twitch employee came back a few days ago to reveal the reason.

The real reason for the ban was that the streamer was sending sexual messages to a minor through Twitch whispers, a messaging feature that has now been removed. In fact, the former employee also claimed that Dr. Disrespect tried to meet her at TwitchCon.

Let’s stop this nonsense, you know I have no candidate. I’ve always been honest and real with you guys and I’m willing to take responsibility and that’s why I’m here now. First, I would like to apologize to everyone in the community, but also to people close to me, to my team, and also to Midnight Society Game Studio.

Many people don’t know what happened to Midnight Society Game Studio yesterday. We have made the difficult decision to part ways. Our team is full of talented, good people with high career aspirations and I would never want to jeopardize the culture we have created.

Everyone wanted to know why Twitch banned me, but since it was out of my hands, I wasn’t allowed to say anything for the past few years. Now that two former Twitch employees have publicly revealed the allegations, I can tell you my side of the ban.

Were there messages with an underage girl in 2017? The answer is yes. If there are real intentions behind these messages, the answer is of course no. It was one of those casual conversations that sometimes verged on inappropriate, but nothing more. Nothing illegal happened, no photos were shared, no crimes were committed, and I have not even met this person. This case was settled. Let me be clear, this was not a criminal case against me and no criminal charges were ever brought against me.

Now, morally speaking, I will take responsibility. I should never have had these conversations. this is my mistake. This concerns me as an adult and as a husband and father. I shouldn’t do that. I’m not perfect. He was stupid.

Social media is a disaster “zone.” I’m not a homosexual. Do you work with me? Anyone who knows me knows well my position on these matters. This is a different level of disgust that I can’t even hear about. Don’t describe me as the worst ever with your exaggerations. I think I said what I had to say about the ban. This is it. That’s why Twitch made this decision in 2020.

To my team, community, and friends in the industry who supported me, I apologize, and I wish I could have said all of this sooner.

Finally, if you feel uncomfortable with this statement and think I’m trash, that’s okay. But I’m not going anywhere. I’m not the same guy who made this mistake years ago. I will now go on vacation with my family as I told you on the broadcast and I will return with a huge burden on my shoulders. They want me to make amends…yes right…
