Dragon's Dogma 2 community is angry – many complaints about microtransactions

However, the game, in addition to the very positive reviews it has received, has recently faced many complaints from players.

For example, one way to fast travel in the game is to place a Portcrystal anywhere the player wants on the map and use a Ferrystone to teleport. Both items are rare, but that's no longer the case – for those who want it, Capcom is offering the Portcrystal for €2.99. There is a limit to the number of Portcrystals that can be active and the game allows up to 10 including those that can be obtained in-game.

Many people are also upset that Dragon's Dogma 2 will not allow them to change their character's appearance without finding or paying for the Art of Metamorphosis. Art of Metamorphosis costs €1.99 on Steam.

Continuing the complaints, Dragon's Dogma 2 is so real that some NPCs can die. If the player has time, they can visit the cemetery and use spells to bring them back to life. However, Capcom has added the ability through microtransactions to restore an NPC if you pay real money. Wakestones cost €0.99.

Within the microtransactions are Rift Crystals, which players can use to purchase special items or recruit new pawns into their party. Rift Crystals are usually present in the game as well.

As for the PC version, there are also many complaints regarding performance due to the Denuvo that Capcom added.
