Regarding the specific condition of completing the questionnaire required by the beneficiaries of the same department, Mr. Protopsaltis assured that very soon, by the end of the month, payments will be made even if the questionnaires of the entire department are not completed.
Delays Existing Mr. Protopsaltis explained that unlike DYPA there are KEK and independent certification bodies that must follow a specific procedure for submitting supporting documents.
However, there have been strong protests over delays in the payment of wages to the unemployed who have been certified to acquire digital and green skills.

DYPA 2023: Changes to Unemployment Benefit – Who Loses It Ultimately
New changes to unemployment benefits for thousands of unemployed people registered with DYPA (formerly OAED).
In particular, the unemployed must complete their new digital individual work plan and obtain their new digital card.
DYPA has already started preparing to contact the unemployed looking for work, which is believed to be between 150 and 170 thousand.
They should, in the near future, book an appointment with their Employment Adviser on the DYPA digital platform myDYPAlive or at a local Employment Promotion Centre.

The basic monthly unemployment benefit is €399.25 for 80 to 300 days, plus vacation benefits.
For each protected family member it is increased by 10%.
Beneficiaries are unemployed persons on the OAED registry who have either 1) been fired, or 2) fixed-term contracts have expired, or 3) have been laid off, and meet the conditions for insurance days. Subsidized unemployed EU workers can transfer their allowance to Greece for up to 3 months.
Long term unemployment benefit
Those who have used unemployment benefit for 12 months are entitled to a monthly long-term unemployment benefit of 200 euros for another 12 months. Income criteria apply.
Unemployment benefit for self-employed insured persons in EFKA (s. OAEE, s. ETAP – SME, s. ETAA)
The value of the assistance is 360 euros per month, for a period of 3 to 9 months depending on the years of insurance. Income criteria apply.
Special seasonal aid
The amount of special seasonal assistance ranges from 508 to 1016 EUR and is paid once in the September-November quarter of each year. Beneficiaries are insured employees of EFKA and practice one of the 23 professions included in the relevant list (see information on the oaed.gr website).
Special assistance for residency for a period of three months in the register of the unemployed, the suspended and the released
Those who have completed 3 months registered in the OAED unemployment register and worked at least 60 days in the previous year are entitled to €239.55. The beneficiaries are also those who have stopped working and the aid amounts to 319.40 euros. For these two categories of beneficiaries, assistance is provided 3 times in the same calendar year each quarter. Released persons are entitled to a grant of up to €239.55, but it is awarded 3 times in the same calendar year of each month. For all of the aforementioned beneficiaries, the benefit is increased by 10% for each protected family member. Income criteria apply.
Special assistance after unemployment benefits expire
If the beneficiary remains registered unemployed for one month after the end of the unemployment benefit, he or she receives a lump sum of €207.61, an increase of 10% for each protected family member. Income criteria apply. Those who are eligible for special seasonal assistance are excluded.
Entitlement due to the bankruptcy of the employer
Those who work for a company that has gone bankrupt receive a one-time benefit corresponding to up to 3 months of unpaid wages and are insured across all sectors.
Special benefit for maternity protection
Female workers in the private sector, after the end of their maternity leave, are entitled to receive a special bonus for a period of 6 months, equivalent to the minimum wage, and they are insured in the main and supplementary branches of insurance and illness.
Supplemental maternity benefit
Employees who have a contract under a special law during pregnancy and childbirth are entitled to an additional benefit of up to 4 months that covers the difference between the wages they will receive and the maternity benefit they receive from EFKA, and they are also insured in the main insurance sector.
Optional long-term insurance for the unemployed to establish a pension right
Beneficiaries are the long-term unemployed (registered for more than 12 months) who have up to 1,500 days of remaining insurance to complete the minimum requirement for full pension creation in EFKA. OAED pays the main and supplementary insurance premiums.
Accommodation allowance in a tourist accommodation (social tourism)
Beneficiaries are employed, supported unemployed, and employees receiving maternity protection benefits, with at least 50 consecutive days of work, benefits, or benefits in the previous year. Also, registered persons with disabilities who have a disability rate of 50% or greater are eligible without any other conditions. Stays up to 5 days, double on Lesbos, Chios, Samos, Kos and Leros.
