Applications for DYPA’s new “Gaining Work Experience for Unemployed Youth Aged 18-29” programme, funded by NSRF, are currently underway.
Through the new program, 25,000 young people will have the opportunity to gain valuable professional experience. The aim of this measure is to enhance young people’s access to the labor market and stop the leakage of human resources.
Beneficiaries are registered unemployed people aged 18 to 29, graduates of at least compulsory education, who are not participating in an education or training programme, and are not working.
The programme lasts for 7 months and DYPA will pay beneficiaries a monthly allowance equivalent to the legal minimum wage of 830 euros (with full insurance contributions), plus a percentage of holiday gifts and holiday allowance. Beneficiaries enjoy full medical coverage H– Ifka.
Companies interested in participating join the program based on the employees they employ, as follows:

A necessary condition is that the company has not reduced the number of employees during the quarter preceding the date of submitting the application for participation.
The programme, which has a total budget of EUR 200 million, is co-financed by Greece and the European Union, through the “Human Resources and Social Cohesion” programme.

Procedure
— Companies submit applications online at gov.gr
– Determine the specialization and qualifications required for the job(s).
– DYPA confirms that the company meets the requirements.
— DYPA Recruitment Consultants refer candidates to the company based on the qualifications required for the position(s).
The company chooses between the candidates and they sign the agreement.
