Eat fast food three times a day for 100 days – the results will surprise you

See everything he claims…

One would expect that eating McDonald’s every day for a full three months would lead to weight gain.

However, this was not the case for a 57-year-old man from Tennessee.

Kevin Muggins came to various US media outlets this week claiming that he went from 108kg to 81.4kg by eating McDonald’s three times a day for 100 days. However, he explained that he ate about half of what he ordered to limit his caloric intake during his experiment.

Muggins also said he avoided snacking between meals and only drank water. The result was that he lost 26.6 kg, and his cholesterol and blood sugar levels improved.

“Before I had diabetes, now I’m at healthy levels,” said the 57-year-old.

One of the show’s hosts who came out said the diet in question was “clearly not sustainable.” Maggins jokingly replied, “Don’t be so bitter as I eat my apple pie and lose weight.”

However, he later admitted that to maintain his weight loss, he would also have to maintain the reduced meal portions he used to eat each time.

“Half a serving to lose weight, three-quarters of a plate to maintain weight, with any food, including McDonald’s,” Muggins said.

The opposite opinion…

However, it’s worth noting that the 57-year-old’s results stand in stark contrast to the 2004 documentary Super Size Me. In the documentary, 32-year-old director Morgan Spurlock gained 11.1kg by eating McDonald’s.

At the same time, he developed high blood pressure, high cholesterol, symptoms of depression, as well as impotence.
