EFET recalls cookies with known allergens.
EFET has demanded immediate recall of the entire specified batch of the said product from the domestic market due to the absence of egg reference on the product label.
In particular, EFET and in particular the Regional Directorate of Central Macedonia, when carrying out regulations in the framework of the program “Official control of the presence of allergenic substances in certain types of food” for 2023, sample food with data: ” Vegan with oats and carob under the brand name “Violanda Vegano Vegetable Cookies” Cookies, minimum shelf life date 13-05-2024 and batch number 051306, “Manufactured by company in Violanda Biscuit Industry.” 6th Thousand of Trikala – Karditsa.

The product was analyzed by the 2nd Department of the 1st Chemical Service of Athens of General Chemistry of the State of AADE, and was found to contain an allergenic substance (egg).
EFET has requested immediate recall of the entire above mentioned product from the domestic market due to the absence of egg-related reference on the product label and the corresponding controls are already underway.
Consumers who are allergic to eggs and have already purchased the product are advised not to consume it.
