The reduced nightly electricity tariff comes into effect today, 1 November, which is expected to give a big ‘breath’ to thousands of households.
The night tariff includes the period from November 1, 2023 to April 30, 2024 and the following times:
- 02:00-08:00 And 15:00-17:00For customers connected to the mainland network and its interconnected islands.
- 02:00-08:00 And 15:30-17:30For clients of unconnected islands.
Night electricity tariff: application
It is possible to submit a request for a night tariff provided that the electricity tariff is issued in the name of the concerned party and the procedure is done in two ways:
- Through the DEDDIE service application
- By phone at 8004004000
- It is noted that there are activation fees and time fees (night stream).
What about low direct current at night
For customers on a residential rate with time charges (reduced night) for continuous hours, the current hours from 23:00 to 07:00 apply.
It should be noted that continuous hours (23:00 to 07:00 all year round) no longer apply to new consumers and still only apply to existing consumers. Consumers with a continuous schedule can change it and receive the split schedule if they wish, but they cannot return to the continuous schedule.
