On Thursday afternoon, August 22, the singer’s doctor spoke by phone to SKAI’s Summer’s Cool, explaining more details about her health condition, confirming that Ellie Kokkino is fine and will return home soon.

“Mrs. Kokkino is doing very well. She has been suffering from a viral respiratory infection for a week. Her bronchial asthma has affected her a little, she is receiving antibiotic treatment and will be home in a few days,” said Dr. Vasilis Yordanoglu.
