PAOK and AEK already know which tournament and round they will be participating in this year, while Olympiacos, Panathinaikos and Aris are waiting… waiting, of course for different reasons…
Today, the possibility of Greece “winning” the fifth European ticket for next season was ruled out, as Olympiacos, with a 2-2 draw with its host Leoforos, finished third.
Greece will have five representatives next year
a) Olympiacos finished fourth.
b) Aris wins the Greek Cup.
c) Olympiacos wins the Conference League.
So…
- the PAOK As champion, he will play in the second Champions League qualifier.
- the EekThe second-placed team will compete in the second qualifying round for the Conference League.
- the Olympic In third place in the ranking
- a) If they win the Conference League, they will play in the Europa League group stage.
- b) If it is defeated by Fiorentina, it will participate in the second qualifiers of the Conference League.
- Winner of the Greek Cup Final (Panathinaikos – Mars (Saturday at Panthesaliko Stadium) will play in the first or (most likely) second qualifying round of the Europa League, while the loser will not participate in European competition next season.
The draw for the four European teams will take place on June 19, while the second qualifiers will be held on July 23, 24 and 25.
