Eurovision 2023: Great start and appearances for King Charles and Queen Camilla

The grand opening of the 67th Eurovision Song Contest

At 22:00 on Tuesday 9/5, the 67th Eurovision Song Contest kicked off at the packed Liverpool Arena.

Fifteen countries are competing for the golden ticket to the Grand Final on Saturday and the atmosphere is impressive as you will see many of the favorites today.

This year’s competition was presented by actress Hannah Waddingham, singer Alesha Dixon and Ukrainian singer Julia Sanina, who welcomed the audience to the grand celebration.

At first a video was shown welcoming all of Europe to the 67th pageant. In fact, at the beginning of the show they toured Liverpool, while we also saw King Charles and Queen Camilla.

The order of appearance of the 15 competing countries in the first semi-final

  9. Israel: Noa Kirill – “Unicorn”
  10. Moldova: Pasha Parfeny – “Soarele și Luna”
  11. Sweden: Lorraine – “Tattoo”
  12. Azerbaijan: TuralTuranX – “Tell me more”
  13. Czech Republic: Vesna – “My Sister’s Crown”
  14. Holland: Mia Nicolay & Dionne Cooper – “Burning Daylight”
