No is the answer
Famello’s paid response: “It’s better to make cool jokes than criminal principles.”
Crushed by opposition fire (and stark reality), Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis found himself in parliament during a plenary debate on the massive disasters in Evros and Thessaly the previous months.
Attempting to change the agenda at one point, he tried to joke about what was happening in SYRIZA-PS, although his intervention only amounted to indecency. Specifically, during his cross-examination and referring to the official opposition parliamentary representative, he said: “Mr Famello, I found him particularly aggressive, contrary to what I was used to. I wonder if this aggression is inversely proportional to your polls. You will be a Black Friday party, -50%.”
An immediate and paid response from Socrates Famellos, in his own rebuttal that immediately followed: “It is better to make cold jokes about Black Friday than to make criminal policies to destroy our region, be it Thessaly or Evros or Rhodes. It is good to stick to funny jokes, but it is better not to insult the parliamentary process. When you can’t answer, stop the jokes.
