Novak Djokovic by defeating Taylor Fritz broke two more records of Roger Federer, while continuing an unreal streak.
The great Novak Djokovic added his name to two other records in tennis history as of Tuesday evening after defeating Taylor Fritz.
In this way, Nole qualified for the semi-finals of the US Open. This will be his 47th appearance in a Grand Slam semifinal which is more than anyone else in the Open Era leaving Roger Federer in second place with 46.
Meanwhile, Djokovic broke another record held by the Swiss. For the sixth time in his career, Nole will end a year having qualified for at least the semifinals at all four Grand Slams.
Until the US Open, Nole was tied for second place on the relevant list with Roger Federer, and now the top belongs to him alone.
In addition, Novak Djokovic continued his unrealistic streak. The Serbian won his match with Fritz in the 125th consecutive match in the four Grand Slams on hard surfaces (Australian Open – US Open), in which he advanced 2-0.
