Instagram is one of the most popular social media platforms around the world with more than 1 billion users logging in monthly to view photos/videos and more posted by their family members, friends and loved ones.
There are a lot of people posting stuff daily, but there are many other people hanging around looking at other users’ accounts…
If you are an Instagrammer, you want your profile to be liked and appreciated. This is why you want to know who views your Instagram profile (maybe not just them…).
So how do you track who views their Instagram account? Can you see who viewed your profile? Let’s answer these questions.
Technically, there is no simple or consistent way to check who has viewed your IG page. Instagram does not have a built-in feature to let users know who has reviewed their profile. The reason behind this move is privacy. Users who do not post to their account, but simply check and like others’ posts, may stop using the app if their likes and opinions are exposed. This will lead to a decrease in engagement with the app which is bad for business. Even though these people aren’t posting, they’re still consuming just as much advertising as everyone else, and if their activity becomes public, they may stop using the app altogether.
However, there are some third-party apps that claim to help you find out who viewed your page. These apps are available on the Play Store and App Store and claim to let you know who views your profile if you give them access to your Instagram account. But their reliability is questionable…
Some of these apps are Social View, Follower Analyzer, Profile +, and others. These apps are not safe on the device and pose a big threat to your data security. Your Instagram account can even get banned if you get caught using such apps…
