A fire is raging in the Stamata region of Attica.
According to the latest update from the fire department, the picture of the fire is improving, although the forces are on high alert.
Ground and air routes are used to extinguish it. Specifically, 3 teams of mountaineers are on site with 62 firefighters, 16 vehicles, 3 helicopters and two planes.
Earlier, a warning message was sent to residents to be prepared.

According to the fire department, the fire broke out shortly after 12 noon in a wooded area near Papanicoli and Mikros Asias streets.
ELAS enforced traffic regulations in Stamada area due to fire.
Vehicular traffic has been stopped on the following roads.
-L. Kolokotroni Street from Piperopoulou Heights
– From the height of Marathonos Street on Konstantinopoulios Street
-L. On March 25 Street from Piperopoulou Heights
-L. On Euxinou Pontou street from the heights of Constantinopolios.
