First 3DMark performance benchmarks show the RTX 4090 is 82% faster than the RTX 3090 – Nvidia

Leaked benchmarks include 3DMark FireStrike Ultra, a DirectX11 benchmark running at 4K resolution, TimeSpy Extreme using the DirectX12 API and the same resolution, and Port Royal based on a custom engine featuring the DirectX Raytracing API.

The RTX 4090 is the first and fastest Ada Lovelace GPU that Nvidia is releasing this month. The new GPU features 16,384 CUDA cores and 21 Gbps of 24 GB GDDR6X memory on a 384-bit interface. NVIDIA has released a special driver for its new card, which is currently available to tech reviewers.

The RTX 4090 scores 18,892 points in FireStrike Ultra, 25,256 points in TimeSpy Extreme, and 24,886 points in Port Royal on related tests that include graphics performance metrics.
