.’s latest update Gran Turismo 7 It is now available. It weighs less than 300MB on the PS4 and just under 400MB on the PS5 and, as expected, fixes a number of minor issues with the game.
Of these, two will stand out more for players, the other in the literal sense of the word. This is the bug that changed the brake calipers on custom lime green cars, and it’s now fixed.
However, the other one that players hoped wouldn’t be fixed: a bug in the Extra Menu Roulette. This allowed players to repeatedly earn four-star and six-star engine tickets – and the Honda NSX Gr.B for free – from the additional rolls introduced in version 1.17.
With this flaw, it was possible to accumulate the number of tickets you receive into the equivalent of a decade of normal play. This somewhat highlights the extreme scarcity of high-quality special ingredients and Replacement Engines, which are locked behind these roulette tickets; Some still do not appear despite thousands of tickets opened.
However, the “bonanza” ticket has now been corrected. This again means that GT Cafe List Books are the only source for one-time tickets, with miles of daily exercise completed awarding one ticket at a random level each day.
Among the other featured issues that were fixed was an issue with Logitech G923 steering wheel console, and a curious bug that crashed the game if the Honda Vision GT was the camera target in Music Replay. The update also fixes an issue with gearbox settings and another issue with saving data transfer to different controllers.
For players anticipating new content — and that all-important ability to sell cars — we expect the next content update to come at the end of July, if Polyphony Digital sticks with its pattern. GT7 and that a lot of GT Sportlife too.
