A flight from Glasgow to Antalya, Turkey made an emergency landing at Thessaloniki’s “Macedonia” airport on Sunday evening.
A drunken female passenger punched the staff after injuring herself by hitting her face on the seat. Despite the crew’s attempts to calm her down, she continued her violent behavior. In this case, the operator has requested an emergency landing of the aircraft due to the safety of the aircraft.

The British woman was arrested by airport police officers and taken to the prosecutor’s office for a criminal hearing today. He was charged with obstructing traffic, disorderly conduct in flight and disobeying a pilot’s order. He was referred for trial by automatic procedure to the three-man Criminal Court of Thessaloniki.
During the preliminary hearing, the 61-year-old British woman refused to apologise.
