Galaxy S23 render shows Samsung can ditch the camera bump – Samsung

Unofficial images of Samsung’s upcoming flagship smartphones suggest that the company is ready to ditch the camera bumps seen in this year’s Galaxy S22 and… S22 Plus.

Instead, offers are posted by the known account OnLeaks It reveals that the Galaxy S23 and S23 Plus will simply have three notable camera lenses, without the unified raised section between them. It’s a similar design to this year’s Galaxy S22 Ultra, albeit with a single camera sensor.

The technical specifications of the Galaxy S23 and S23 Plus are very similar to this year’s phones. The S23 is expected to have a 6.1-inch screen, while the S23 Plus could have a larger 6.6-inch screen. Both are expected to have three cameras again, although the exact specifications of the camera are yet to be revealed. In the US, both are almost certainly powered by Qualcomm’s upcoming flagship Qualcomm which will likely be called Snapdragon 8 Gen 2.

While the Galaxy S23 and S23 Plus are considered “standard” upgrades over this year’s models, the same can’t be said for the Galaxy S23 Ultra, which is rumored to use a much higher resolution camera sensor than the S22 Ultra. There is a relevant piece of information from last month that talks about existence New 200MP sensor From Samsung itself, which should result in more detailed shots compared to the S22 Ultra’s 108MP camera.

No word on what pricing policy the company will follow, but Samsung tends to announce new Galaxy S series models early in the year. The S22 series was announced in February of this year, while the S21 was announced in January 2021. This means that the Galaxy S23 series is likely still a few months away, with more information emerging as we get closer to the announcement.
