An alarm was raised to the Saronic Coast Guard on Monday (17/6) afternoon that an unconscious woman, other details unknown, was pulled from the sea near the rocky part of Agios Kosmas Marina.
Lifeguards rushed to the scene and picked up the woman and took her by lifeboat to Glyfada’s 4th Marina.
Later, he was picked up by an EKAV ambulance and taken to Voula’s “Asklipieio” General Hospital, where he was pronounced dead.
It is the body of a woman aged around 35-40 years.
The Saronikos Port Authority, which is conducting a preliminary investigation, ordered an autopsy at the Forensic and Toxicology Laboratory of the National and Kapodistrian University Medical School of Athens.
A 68-year-old woman was dragged out unconscious in Ilia
A few hours later, the Katakolo Port Authority was informed that a 68-year-old woman was found unconscious in the sea area of ”Spiatsa” in Birkos Municipality, Ilia.
The 68-year-old woman was taken by an EKAV ambulance to Pyrgos General Hospital, where she was pronounced dead.
An unconscious 68-year-old foreigner was also rescued from the “Tripti Liminaria” sea area of Thassos.
An autopsy has been ordered by the Katakolo Port Authority, which is conducting a preliminary investigation.
Also, unconscious, a 68-year-old foreigner was rescued from Thassos’ “Tripti Liminaria” sea area. The 68-year-old was taken by ambulance to Brinos Health Center where he was pronounced dead.
The body will be transferred to the Forensic Service of Thrace for an autopsy. The initial investigation is carried out by the 1st Port Department of Thassos of the Central Port Authority of Kavala.
