Despite the sanctions, a well-known company continues to provide financial support to Russian retailers and distributors. According to the company, this is a forced measure, otherwise the company runs the risk of losing the Russian market completely.
As reported by Izvestia newspaper, several sources active in the electronics market confirmed that the well-known South Korean multinational, which initially joined the Western Province of Russia, has reactivated financial support to its Russian partners – retailers and distributors.
This actually happened in the summer. That is, the system that provides for the payment of a certain fee for the sale of smartphones, tablets and other devices of the company in Russia is working again.
However, the company appears to have done so out of necessity, Russia Today commented! The report continues that the company’s Russian market share declined significantly during the anti-Russian sanctions campaign.
Users increasingly prefer Chinese devices, so the company in question needs the support of importers and retailers to maintain its position in Russia, experts told Izvestia.
“The company was forced to reactivate support for buyers and retailers from Russia due to a decline in its market share.” Sources told Izvestia.
It’s a huge victory for Putin, if nothing else!!!
