Today a prominent Rockstar Games insider brought some bad news to those who might be a fan of her Grand Theft Auto 4. In recent years, there have been reports and rumors that Rockstar will eventually release a modified version of GTA 4 A time in the future for modern platforms. And while Rockstar itself never bothered that such a remaster was in the works, it appears that any plans for this project have now been scrapped.
According to a Rockstar insider named Tez2, the longtime Grand Theft Auto developer has no intention of reworking both. GTA 4 and the original Red Dead Redemption. Tez2 says this information comes from a “reliable source” who said such adapters “were on the table a few years ago,” although Rockstar eventually decided not to go ahead with porting either title to current-generation platforms.
According to a reliable source with clear accuracy in Rockstar’s plans, a modified version of GTA IV and RDR1 was on the table a few years ago, but Rockstar chose not to move forward with the projects.
The poor reception of the Trilogy DE may have been a reason behind this decision.#GTA IV #RDR1

Although no details were provided on this situation, Tez2 points out that one of the reasons Rockstar chose not to transfer Grand Theft Auto 4 And the Red Dead Redemption Come back to me poor response that was seen with Grand Theft Auto: The Trilogy – Ultimate Edition. At the end of 2021, bring Rockstar GTA 3And the GTA Vice CityAnd the GTA San Andreas to modern platforms with a package called Ultimate Edition. And while this news initially sparked a number of fans, the pros across all three titles were less than stellar, to say the least. Bugs, graphical issues, and many other issues plagued all three games to the point that Rockstar eventually I apologize for its quality.
In light of this disastrous release, it appears that Rockstar has now decided not to mess with reboots at all. And while we know that Rockstar is currently under construction GTA 6It remains to be seen what the studio does between now and the release of that game. Based on what we’ve heard in the past, GTA 6 It might not release until 2024 or 2025, which means that Rockstar fans may be in for a drought in the coming years.
How do you feel about knowing that the transformers from GTA 4 And the Red Dead Redemption Likely not to be released in the future? And if we don’t see the return of games like this, what will Rockstar actually release in the lead-up to it Grand Theft Auto 6?
