It’s been a long wait for One UI 5.0 beta but this ends in the end. Samsung today launched the One UI 5.0 beta program in Germany. The first build already Introduced in Galaxy S22, Galaxy S22 + and Galaxy S22 Ultra.

Sign up for the One UI 5.0 beta in the Samsung Members app
Only unlocked devices are eligible for the trial firmware. So make sure you unlock your Galaxy S22, or any other trial eligible device. Some variants locked by US carriers may be eligible, and you’ll find this information in the Samsung Members app.
The process of joining the Samsung One UI 5.0 beta program is simple enough. You just need to launch Samsung Members app. Once the beta is published in your area, you will find a banner at the top. It will be reported that registrations for the One UI 5.0 beta are now open. You can also check the app’s notifications section if the logo is not visible on the home screen.
Hit the sign followed by the record button and that’s it. Hey, you! Now you just need to download the first trial manually. To do this, head over to the Settings app and go to system updateand select Download and install.
The beta firmware should be available for download within a few minutes of you being signed up for the program. Once the download and installation is done, your device will restart and you will now be able to test Android 13 and One UI 5.0.
Make sure to sign up for the program as soon as possible once the beta is published in your region. There have been cases in the past where spots were filled. Also keep in mind that it is always a good idea to backup your phone before installing beta firmware. This will ensure that your data remains safe even if something goes wrong in the trial version.
If you decide to return to Android 12You will be prompted to perform a full reset of your device. This backup will come in handy in this case, allowing you to resume work as usual even after downgrading from Android 13.
