In 2014, Mr. Samaras, in whose government Mr. Mitsotakis was a minister, chose to expedite the election of the President of the Republic, precisely because he could not complete the assessment at that time. Not only did he escape his responsibility, he left a scorched earth with empty coffers and a program that expired just a month after the January election. Thus setting up the “left arc” design.

But fortunately for the country, Syriza was the democratic choice of the Greek people and took charge of leading it from the brink in 2015, without warrants, with regulated debt until 2030 and with a safety unit of 36 billion euros in 2019.
