“I’d rather be struck by lightning than die”

“I’d rather be struck by lightning than die”

Aretti, 36, was murdered by her estranged husband outside her home in Amphilochia, who shot her in front of her minor daughter, heartbroken, and then ended her own life.

The 43-year-old man had set up a cartel inside his own house to kill the woman, which included their minor daughter.

When the unfortunate 36-year-old came out of her house at around 4:00 a.m., the 43-year-old immediately jumped onto her car from the 1st floor balcony, shooting out the windshield and passenger window, killing her. Then the mysterious person who went behind the vehicle took his own life by pointing a deadly weapon at his head.

Life—“hell”—divorce, Aretti’s parents advised them

The 43-year-old murderer and suicide bomber made his estranged wife’s life hell, the parents of deceased Arethi said. In fact, the victim’s mother says that in the past the accused and the accused were constantly drinking and going around drunk, while he often abused her, beat her and cursed her.

As the hapless 36-year-old parents tried to counsel the couple, they told them to leave their daughter and the son-in-law to leave her and their daughter and start a new life with another woman. But the answer they received was: “I cannot live without her.”

One of the violent incidents unfolded on Amphilochia Beach where he violently assaulted a 36-year-old woman, resulting in her calling her son to call the police.

His mother, 36, described the shocking incident: “He picked her up and took her to the beach. He was beating her. He said to her (when she called her 36-year-old son) “Mommy, where are you?” She told him, “Santa, call 100.” My father is killing me.”

Arethi’s father learned about his daughter’s murder first thing in the morning. “I left home to go to work and my friends warned me. I had no idea. I’d rather be struck by lightning.”

“He’s got a gun, he’s going to kill me” – 36-year-old girl’s last words before dying

According to Megha, the last thing the 36-year-old said when communicating with the police was: “I’m Areti T.S…, she has a gun, she’s going to kill me!”.

A short time later, the woman was shot dead by her assailant, who set up the murder carbine in her home, where their child was also located.

Time frame of murder

It all happened at 04:00 am on Saturday (13/07) when the 43-year-old went to his estranged wife’s house and caused death. There, their 13-year-old daughter was alone and called their best man on the second floor of the same apartment building, yelling, “My dad’s in the house with a gun.” Later, the best man went to the 1st floor and tried to calm the 43-year-old.

In fact, her 13-year-old daughter, afraid of what would happen, asked a neighbor for help. He took the toddler and locked him in his 43-year-old wife’s house. Megha said the attacker then called his ex-wife, who was working at the time, and said, “Come home or I will kill our daughter.”

Later, when the hapless 36-year-old came out of his house, the 43-year-old immediately jumped onto his car from the 1st floor balcony and shot the windshield and passenger window. Then the mysterious person who went behind the vehicle ended his life by putting a mark on his head.

Domestic violence cases

According to police sources, the victim had filed a case of domestic violence against her estranged husband last May, who was arrested but released without parole for an as-yet unknown reason. He suggested that EL.AS go to a facility and install a panic button on her cell phone, but she refused.

At the same time, police sources said that the victim has again filed a case against the accused for domestic violence and threats for the activities that took place 3 days ago on July 10. However, the culprit could not be arrested at the Autoforo border. The unfortunate woman does not want to be transferred to a structure or install a panic button.

It is to be noted that the accused was living in his father’s house.
