The countdown has begun for the digital mobile application that will pertain to the car and will include all the necessary documents, such as license, insurance and KTEO. Minister of Digital Governance Dimitris Papasteriou (SKAI) announced that the application will go into effect in the coming days, adding that in cooperation with the Ministry of Transport and Infrastructure, checks will be followed up on cars operating without insurance and without KTEO.
The Minister also mentioned the start of inspections to clean the vehicle registry while announcing that notifications will be sent to citizens about when KTEO or vehicle insurance will expire.
For the first time on mobile a complete and complete image
When the last details are completed and the app is launched, drivers will be able to get a full and complete picture of their car on their mobile phone for the first time, without the need for multiple, time-consuming visits to public services.
And the digital ownership file
Regarding the digital ownership file, the minister stated that meetings with notaries have already begun to normalize the work of the platform, while he expressed his optimism that any existing problems will be resolved, so that transfers can now be made on the same day.
At the same time, he confirmed that since yesterday, a new draft law regulating cybersecurity, which will assume responsibility for supervising 2,000 entities, public and private, has been put forward for consultation.
“The new Greece is digital Greece, it is changing and this can be seen in the daily lives of citizens,” said Dimitris Papastergiou.
