As discovered in the fourth beta version iOS 17.2 Which has just become available to developers, the upcoming software update will provide an option that people have been requesting for some time, making… iPhone A more customizable experience than ever before.
In particular, this update includes Ability to modify the default sound for notifications. The new Default Alerts section is located in the Sounds & Haptics menu of Settings and offers the ability to select a preferred sound for all incoming alerts, except for those related to SMS, email, and calendar events. These specific types of notifications can actually be changed from previous versions of iOS.
The update introduces all message sounds as available options to the default notification sound and is further evidence of Apple’s shift in approach to freedom and customization in iOS.

It is worth noting that this beta version of iOS 17.2 also introduces a new function to adjust the default haptic feedback. This addition comes after the changes made to the haptic feedback system in previous versions of iOS 17. Apple wants to satisfy users who were disappointed by the initial changes by giving them the flexibility to return to previous haptic notifications or customize them according to their preferences.
