Israel: Biden urges Netanyahu to respect just war and sends a message to Iran

US President Joe Biden revealed, in his speech to leaders of the American Jewish community (photo above, Reuters/Jonathan Ernst), that he was asked, in a phone conversation with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, to respect the law of war in attacks against the Palestinian Islamic movement Hamas in the Gaza Strip. .

At the same time, Joe Biden stressed that the deployment of American warships and aircraft off the coast of Israel sends a clear message to Tehran.

The United States sees no indication of the involvement of additional actors in the conflict

The President of the United States said, according to what was reported by APE: “We have made it clear to the Iranians: Be careful!”

Earlier on Wednesday, Charles K. Brown, Chairman of the US Joint Chiefs of Staff, said from Brussels that the United States saw no indication of countries or “additional parties” seeking to participate in Hamas’ attack on Israel.

“I have not seen any indication that there are additional factors that could be mobilized against Israel,” Charles Brown said during a press conference in the Belgian capital.

It does not seek to target Iran

As everything shows, the US government is not currently seeking to “target” Iran as it is responsible for what is happening in Israel, thus opening a new front.

US Secretary of Defense Lloyd Austin, present at this press conference, for his part, repeated the warning made by Joe Biden.

The American minister stressed, “To any country, any organization, and anyone who thinks about taking advantage of the tragedy in Israel to try to expand the conflict or shed more blood, we have nothing but to say: Do not do it.”
