The Journalist Konstantinos Karananas, after a short illness, passed away at the age of 89.
He started his journalistic career in the year 1960 with “Athinayaki” newspaper. In 1965 he moved to the “Express” newspaper, where he was the editor of economic issues for several years, while he worked for the “Macedonia” newspaper.
From the mid-1980s until his retirement in 1998, he worked at the “ESTIA” newspaper, first as financial editor and then as editor-in-chief. He collaborated with “TO VIMA” newspaper for financial reporting matters.

Konstantinos Karananas was born in 1934 in Trikala, Thessaly, and graduated from the Pantheon School of Political Science.
He started his journalistic career in the year 1960 with “Athinayaki” newspaper.
